Having given much of my working life to a public institution I know that universities can and should be exemplars in terms of respecting workers’ rights and improving standards of employment.

I understand issues that professional staff in particular feel strongly about including excessive workloads, job security, transparent recruitment practices and a meaningful PP&D process.

I’m standing as one of the NTEU Renewal Team because I believe we have the breadth of experience and the commitment to work for all members.

I have been a proud member of the NTEU for more than 30 years. I was on the NTEU Branch Committee in 2021-2022 and am currently a member of the NTEU Cases Committee providing support to members needing assistance with workplace issues.

I believe I can bring a wide-ranging perspective to the NTEU Branch Committee and see our Union as a way to help foster a better workplace for everyone.
